Adaptive Sport Survey

Investigating adaptive sport participation for adults aged 50 years or older with spinal cord injury or disease: a descriptive cross-sectional survey

Researchers at the University of Toronto Department of Physical Therapy are recruiting for a new study.

To compare and contrast the characteristics of those aged 50 years or older with SCI/D who do participate and who don’t participate in adaptive sport, describe the characteristics of adaptive sport and identify the barriers and facilitators to participation.

Who is eligible to participate: To participate in this study, you:

  • Adults aged 50 years or older
  • Living in Canada
  • Persons with spinal cord injury or disease for at least 6 months

What is involved:

This study involves the completion of an online survey. It will take approximately 15 minutes to complete the survey. The survey only needs to be completed once to participate in the research.
