Corporate Training

people sitting around table with laptopsHaving an accessible workplace or business is not only the right thing to do, it’s also the law. As Ontario prepares to be fully accessible by 2025, SCIO is here to help develop your business. We have services available to position your company as leaders in the accessibility movement. You can achieve this status through our unique curriculum and training designed and delivered by people with disabilities. By leveraging SCIOs 70 plus years of experience, they guarantee the instruction is accurate, all-encompassing and reflects real life scenarios.

The instructors facilitate interactive workshops online and in-person. They also create responsive mobile design compliant with Web Content Accessibility (WCAG) 2.0 standards. Overall, we offer generic or custom training to meet your organisation’s needs.

An exciting addition to our corporate training is also in the works. We have compiled our educational material into smart online modules we are working on sharing with you. We want to spread our expertise, knowledge and experience and these modules will help us do so. We’re looking to share this information with:

  • those looking to increase their personal health, well-being and independence;
  • businesses looking to gain accurate and reliable in-house knowledge in areas relating to people with disabilities;
  • Healthcare professionals looking to upgrade their skills and competencies through industry accreditation and certification;

Keep an eye on the “professional learning” section of our website for more information. We look forward to collaborating with your business to make Ontario accessible for all.
