Metrolinx 2020 virtual accessibility consultation
Metrolinx wants to hear from any interested members of the public and other organizations about the accessibility of GO Transit, Bus Rapid Transit, UP Express, PRESTO, as well as new rapid transit projects/services that Metrolinx is currently planning (Subways, Light Rail Transit). They have now launched their annual accessibility consultation, although things will be different this time around. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person meetings have been replaced with a virtual consultation.
Through the virtual consultation, participants will have an opportunity to:
- learn about recent accessibility-related work completed at Metrolinx, and the milestones ahead;
- provide comments about their accessibility-related work and priorities; and
- interact virtually with staff and other participants via the Public Forum section.
Participants have the option to either submit comments and questions privately to Metrolinx via each topic area/page in the consultation (direct responses won’t be provided when submitting comments) or via email, or can interact with staff and other participants when posting in the Public Forum section. If you are seeking feedback to submitted questions/comments, please let them know in your submission.
