Peer Connections: Adaptive/Para Sport – Kingston (Virtual)
Staying active is part of every healthy lifestyle. The benefits of sports are as varied as the sports themselves and can include improvements in physical, social, mental, and emotional well-being. Adaptive sports take the barriers away for people with spinal cord injuries to continue to enjoy their favourite activities or to try new ones. Katherine Hale from Ontario Para Network will join us for a presentation on the different para sports available, from a recreational level all the way to international competition. Join us and learn more about it.
