The benefits that come from an active lifestyle are as wide and varied as the types of physical activity you can participate. Maintaining physical activity after an SCI can help to prevent UTIs, pressure sores, respiratory infections, constipation and reduces your risks of falls. Aaron Wexler, physiotherapy student with University of Toronto will take you through a series of exercises you can do to help maintain your overall physical health.
