Peer Connections: The Power of People with Disabilities – Virtual

Wednesday, November 25, 2020

It is important for society to see the massive impact that people with disabilities have daily. We contribute to a greater GDP, become members of the workforce and spend money. Join us as we discuss how we all have value and that if we are going to meet targets for Accessible Ontario Disabilities Act by 2025, things need to drastically change now.  We will be the ones to achieve that change.

Date: Wednesday, November 25, 2020

Time: 3:00 – 4:00 PM

Location:
Zoom Meeting. Please register for log in information.

What technical set-up do I need? If you’ve never joined a Zoom call before here is a link to an informative and easy to follow YouTube video Joining a Zoom Call for the First Time
Do I have to use the video image? No. You can choose to start your video or not. If you choose not to you will still be able to see the presenters and participate.
Can I just call in? Yes. When you register you will receive log in details including call in options.
What about privacy? We’ll be hosting virtual meetings through Zoom for Healthcare, a platform that is geared to protect registered participants’ privacy.
