Thanks to our good friend, ‘never-give-up’ Chris Channon, for walking the Marathon on behalf of SCIO and sharing his story and motivation to inspire others to join in or donate. Read about his incredible story in this Toronto Sun profile by Sue-Ann Levy, and video by Sue-Ann and Stan Behal.
Can’t make it on race day?
Support Chris Channon (featured in the video above) as he takes on the 5k!
In 2014, Chris was attacked and left for dead on a beach in Thailand. He was told he’d never walk again. This October, Chris is taking on the Scotiabank 5k to raise vital funds and awareness from SCIO. Wherever your are in the province, you can play a vital role in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon by donating to Chris’ efforts.
