Ski and Snowboard Day – Ottawa
It’s time again for some winter fun! Join SCIO, our friends from Canadian Adaptive Snowsports (CADS) and our Ski & Snowboard Day sponsors, Burn Tucker Lechaîne, Personal Injury Lawyers, for a day on the slopes at Sommet Edelweiss.
This event has traditionally been a Peer Connections event for our clients only. The incredible volunteers from CADS make a day of sit skiing a possibility for anyone wanting to come out and give it a try and the generous support of our sponsors allows us to offer this great opportunity free to our clients and volunteers.
This year, we would love it if our friends in the community would join us for a day of skiing in support of SCIO’s Enhancing Independence Program. This program assists our clients with the acquisition of new and used equipment that is necessary for them to return to their communities and their homes safely.
For our sit skiers, absolutely no experience is required! There is both a morning and an afternoon option available to choose from and lunch will be provided to all.
