Spinal Cord Injury Ontario Raises more than $50k Through Rolling Through Barriers Campaign

After a 3-month campaign, hundreds of posts on social media and a celebratory tribute event, Spinal Cord Injury Ontario is proud to announce the organization has raised more than $50K through the Rolling Through Barriers campaign, which aimed to recognize the real barriers people with disabilities face on a daily basis, all the while dispelling the common myths and perceived barriers.

“We are incredibly humbled by the success of Rolling through Barriers,” says Stuart Howe, Chief Executive Officer for SCIO. “We hope this campaign has given Canadians a chance to reflect on some of the physical and systemic challenges people with disabilities face on a daily basis.”

Spinal Cord Injury Ontario would like to thank the generous sponsors and donors who contributed to the financial success of the cause particularly Accessibility Sponsors: Motion, Molnycke and Wright Rehab for their support and dedication to creating a fully inclusive world.

If you missed the Rolling Through Barriers campaign, SCIO promises another chance to donate, as the organization prepares for Giving Tuesday, at the end of November.
