These unique events are designed for vendors, manufacturers, and service providers to showcase their products and services to the disability community. For 20 years, SCIO has hosted Vehicle Modification Fairs across the province, and we are happy to be expanding the range of products and services highlighted at these shows. This series of events will allow vendors to inform us about the latest product trends while our community gets the opportunity to meet with experts to ask questions and get advice.
These are outdoor events that will take place at the regional rehabilitation centres – Toronto, Kingston, and Ottawa – and participants will be both inpatients and the local disability community. For years, these events have been the social gathering of the year for our community complete with entertainment, food, and friends and this year, it will be an even bigger party thanks to you!
Proceeds from these events will support SCIO Connect – our suite of core programs for the newly injured and their families that provides navigation coaching, peer support, and access to essential safety and mobility equipment needed for independent living. For more than 75 years, SCIO has been helping the spinal cord injury community adjust to the challenges of daily living with a mobility impairment.
