Chris has been a wheelchair user since 1990. After completing a Masters degree in Recreation Management, he worked in the physical activity/disability sector and then started working with SCIO in 2012. In addition to more than a hundred local, provincial and national sports competitions, he has competed at 4 World Triathlon Championships and 3 World Disabled Water Ski Championships.

Angela was born and raised in Quebec and Northern Ontario and studied at the University of Ottawa. She has worked for over 28 years with people with disabilities with various organizations including the Children’s Aid Society, Ottawa Carleton School Board, and March of Dimes Canada. She has been with Spinal Cord Injury Ontario since 2007.

Federico has been a wheelchair user since May 2000. He was born in Venezuela and moved to Canada in October 2014. He has worked with SCIOntario as a Peer Coordinator since November 2018. Federico is enthusiastic about technology and enjoys learning how new advances and discoveries will make our lives easier.
Our Ottawa Region location supports people with spinal cord injury and family members living in the national capital region and rural areas east and west of Ottawa (from Hawkesbury to Cornwall to Pembroke and areas in between) with these direct services:
