Pride, Power, and Peer Support: Exploring 2SLGBTQIA+ Experiences in the Disability Community

In celebration of Pride Month, Spinal Cord Injury Ontario invites you to a dynamic and thought-provoking webinar highlighting the lived experiences of 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals within the disability community.

Moderated by Rachele Manett, a queer, disabled sex educator and host of Real Talk with Rachele, this one-hour session features a panel of guests who will share personal stories and reflections on navigating identity, healthcare, and inclusion at the intersection of queerness and disability.

Together, we will explore the systemic barriers, attitudinal challenges, and strengths of this vibrant community—while introducing SCIO’s new Peer Connections group dedicated to 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals living with spinal cord injuries.

Date: Wednesday, June 25, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM (ET)
