Equipment for independence

Giving Independence

People are falling through gaps in the healthcare system and can’t get the equipment they need. Essential equipment like a wheelchair, a ramp, a pressure relieving mattress surface, or new batteries for a power wheelchair. Spinal Cord Injury Ontario’s Equipment for Independence program helps people get the equipment they need but cannot afford.

You can give independence today

You can make someone’s life better right now.

“I’m so excited!!!! We have been trying to source out a standing frame since all this happened … Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! From the bottom of my heart ❤️ This means everything to me …”

"Thank you for your contribution to my new elevating power wheelchair. It has enhanced my independence and self-esteem and provided a huge boost to how I feel about myself. Thank you for making this possible."

This is incredibly generous. Thank you, thank you, thanks so very much to all the people involved … This is absolutely wonderful ...
