Budget Submission

Access to Intermittent Catheters and Urinary Supplies:

The Pee it Forward campaign addressed the public coverage of intermittent catheters in Ontario, shedding light on the health risks and financial implications people with disabilities face from a lack of adequate coverage.

This past fall, we put together a package to the Ministry of Health, outlining the case for an improved funding model of Intermittent Catheters and related urinary supplies. We have presented our findings to the ministry and are in ongoing communication with the government to establish a commitment to review the current funding model and implement changes that will enhance the lives of Ontario’s disability community.
