All of us at Spinal Cord Injury Ontario are deeply saddened by the sudden death of our beloved colleague and friend Richard McCallum.
Richard was wonderfully kind person deeply committed to helping people. He was often seen returning to work after office hours following an off-site meeting because someone needed his help.
Richard brought passion and purpose to his work every day. He had an exceptional talent for engaging employers and opening doors to new opportunities for people. Through his efforts, he made a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals and community partners.
Richard retired from his role as Lead Employment Specialist last March after 17 years of dedicated service. His kindness, selfless nature, and unwavering dedication, left a lasting impression on all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
The impact of Richard’s work and positive approach continues to echo through our community. He is, and will continue to be, profoundly missed.
Spinal Cord Injury Ontario extends its deepest sympathies to Richard’s family, friends, and all those who had the good fortune to know Richard and be touched by his kindness and generosity.
