Together with other disability organizations, SCIO is tackling accessible parking in Ontario.
We have been in discussion with the City of Toronto on ways to enhance accessible parking and make car travel easier for people with disabilities.
The city conducted a recent survey to gather the input of people with lived experience and create a strategy to tackle the issues that exist from an administrative standpoint and improve accessible parking not just in the GTA but across Ontario.
