Essential Needs Research Project

This past fall, we published the Essential Needs Report in partnership with the University of Manitoba. The report examines public coverage programs of medical supplies across Canada, outlining the case for a more comprehensive coverage program in Ontario.

We are putting together an MPP engagement campaign in order to mobilize our community one riding at a time and help the public understand the barriers that people with disabilities face each day from a lack of coverage for essential and life saving equipment, including catheters, ceiling lifts, and mattresses that help alleviate pressure injuries.
